Research teams

Our research is divided into eight independent axes of research specializing in different scientific methods and disciplines. A lot of our research focuses on answering questions relating to sticklebacks, such as their genetics, microbiome, parasites and immunology. But, we also have teams investigating other aspects of the ecosystem, such as the zooplankton communities and small water flees called Daphnia. We are a highly collaborative group and there's a lot of overlap in both techniques and personnel between different axes.
